Thousands of visitors from all around the world visit the Assembly Gallery. The Gallery is open to visitors every weekday from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. The Assembly Sergeants work with the Capitol Museum staff to allow access and ensure the safety of all visitors.
The public may observe the legislative proceedings and debates during Assembly Floor Sessions from the Gallery. However, public comments are not permitted.
During Assembly Session, each visitor must pass through a series of security measures before being allowed to enter the gallery. Visitors must also have their personal property examined and scanned.
